Polling for Lok Sabha elections in Karnataka will be held on April 26 and May 7.

Bangalore Central was created by carving out portions of Bangalore North and South Lok Sabha constituencies for the 2009 Indian elections. The first member of the parliament elected from this constituency was P C Mohan.

Bangalore Central consists the following assembly constituencies:

  2. Chamrajpet
  3. Gandhinagar
  4. Shivajinagar
  5. Shantinagar
  6. Sarvagnanagar
  7. CV Raman Nagar
  8. Mahadevapura
