Dinesh Gundu Rao, President of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee held a press event at the Press Club of Bangalore today. He said Congress will make a huge comeback in Karnataka during this upcoming election.

The Indian National Congress Party has been unable to register a victory in Karnataka for over 10 years. To tackle this issue and to register a victory this time, the Congress Party has formed alliances with various regional parties across the country.

The alliance between Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) in Karnataka was formed to put up a strong fight against the Bharatiya Janata Party.  Gundu Rao accused BJP of poaching Congress candidates by offering money to switch sides.

Gundu Rao confirmed that there were no internal conflicts between Congress and JDS contestants. All the issues have been resolved between both party members. They are in high spirits and working closely with each other in various constituencies.

Gundu Rao heavily criticized the BJP for trying to destabilize the coalition government. He also applauded the various schemes such as NYAY launched by Congress President,  Rahul Gandhi.
