With the increase in use of heavy equipments and chemicals for wars, the worst hit is the environment.
Nuclear and chemical weapons have destroyed generations, examples of which were seen in Japan, Kosovo, Vietnam, among other. The damage done to environment by these chemicals is irreversible and not to mention, life threatening.

Air pollution in Syria increased due to the conflict. In 2010, 69% faced high PM2.5 levels. Initially, conflict reduced exposure as people left cities and industries slowed. However, from 2012, it rose, reaching 72% in 2015.

The graph shows the impact of WW-II in Hiroshima and Nagasaki when US dropped atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The atomic bombings affect6ed the coastal region the most, followed by marine ecosystem and the natural habitat that gets affected. Atmosphere has been affected only 65.43 but it gets polluted after the radiation that occurred to soil.
