Prayers for his recovery have been pouring in.
Actor Shivrajkumar, Puneeth Rajkumar’s brother said that he is praying for veteran Kannada actor S. Shivram who is currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Prashanth Hospital in Bangalore.
With tears in his eyes, Shivrajkumar said, “I don’t know what to say, I’m just feeling like we should all be positive and pray for him.”
Shivram’s family has stayed by his side through the ordeal. “He is my grandfather and all I want is for him to get better. I am praying for him,” said Deepak, Shivram’s grandson.
Fans poured onto the streets to find out what happened to their favorite actor. “He was my most favorite actor, this is the worst news today,” cried Manu, an auto driver standing outside the hospital.
Shivram’s close friend, Jaikumar said, the actor fell down while performing ‘Ayyapa’ puja at home. “This is just terrible. I pray my friend recovers by god’s grace,” he said.
Actor Shivram has had a career in the Kannada film industry spanning over six decades. He has acted in blockbuster films like Apthamitra and Huchcha.
