The total number of recovered cases stand at 1,74,07,470. Till date 2,31,419 people have died due to the virus.
With a total active Covid-19 caseload of 35,94,781 in India till May 6, 2021, Maharashtra holds the highest active caseload of 6,41,596 followed by Karnataka (4,87,288), Kerala (3,90,906), Uttar Pradesh (2,59,844), Delhi (90,629), according to the data by Covid19india.org It’s an independent aggregator that records cases everyday.
The data also shows the total number of vaccine doses administered is 16,25,13,339 across the country.
Number of deaths stands highest in Maharashtra (72,662), Delhi (18,398) Karnataka (16,884) and Tamil Nadu (14,974).
