Double vaccination for entry to public spaces is compulsory.
Local containment zones and active surveillance in cluster areas will be enforced as will compulsory testing of vulnerable populations like health workers and senior citizens. International travellers will be allowed to leave the airport only after a negative test.
Fresh guidelines issued by the state Health and Family Welfare Department were announced by Revenue Minister R Ashok following a meeting Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai held with health experts, ministers and various department officials.
Marriage functions, gatherings, conferences and meetings can be held with 500 people.
Only people with double vaccination will be allowed entry in malls and public spaces. Parents visiting school should have double vaccination as well. Moreover, no cultural events in educational institutions will take place till January 15 2022.
All government officials should have double vaccination.
