The Indian Administrative Officer was found hanging in his residence on March 16, 2015.

Her advocate said that the CBI checked the phone records of only D K Ravi and not of any other person like his wife, father in law, Officer Sinduri and his close friends—Chandrashekhar and Hari.

“Since December 2016 several requests have been submitted and till now they have not received investigation papers. She has even submitted a request to the CBI but she did not get any response," said Gowramma’s advocate.

The DK Ravi Fan Association has threatened to hold a protest on November 30, if the CBI doesn’t release the papers to Gowramma.
He also mentioned that if they do not get the investigation papers from the Assistance Commissioner then they are planning to file a petition in the High Court.

Gowramma also said that she had no plans to float any party but if any political party takes up the cause of her son’s death, she would lend them her support. "We have faith that justice will come to us. It's just matter of time,” said Murali Gowda, State President of D.K Ravi fan association, Bangalore.

Murali added, “We are not doing this for political gain; we just want justice for our Ravi.”
