Trichy boy bringing paintings to life

A small town named Trichy, Tamil Nadu resides a young painter with exceptional talent when it comes to paintings.

Prakash(21) pursuing a degree in Fine Arts at Tiruchirapalli, a Government College, with a great reputation when it comes to painting.

From oil paintings on big canvases to watercolor on sheets, everything is a cup of tea for Prakash.

 

His father is a small time tailor by profession and he lives with his elder brother and mother in a small two by two house barely enough to accommodate the family. His small house holds no bar for his imagination.

The whole neighborhood and town is aware of his beautiful paintings and even pays for his paintings.

“Once I was going through his collection and it was absolute treat to my eyes, I was unable to decide which one to pick” said Ramesh, a customer.

He considers himself one lucky son to be supported by his family and he is thankful that his parents are always there to motivate him and support his passion.

“My father is the greatest supporter and he is always by my side. Despite belonging to a not so stable income family, he never forced me to follow the herd and do some professional degree. My father knows my strength and he has faith in me.” he added.

 “I have two dads, don’t be mistaken it’s my master ‘Vignesh’ who has put tremendous effort in shaping the skills I have. I could have been nothing without him”.

Prakash has done wonders in the arena of Art and he has won 17 national and state level awards

Prakash aspires to become an Animator and if he gets chance in future, he dreams of opening a school to revive the art of modern era paintings and share his talent across Tamil Nadu.
